Visit Calice al Cornoviglio is a project of the Comune di Calice al Cornoviglio. La Tipografia Digitale built the site, holds the domain and runs it for the first year. After that, unless otherwise agreed, the site and the domain will be transferred to the Comune, which will then become the data controller, and this page will be updated accordingly.
What data we collect
This site has no forms, no private areas, no newsletter and no analytics. You do not need to register and we do not actively collect personal data.
- Browsing data. Like any website, the hosting server automatically logs some technical data: IP address, date and time of the request, page visited, browser and device type. It is used only to run the site and protect it from abuse.
- Location for the SOS button. If you tap the SOS button and allow it, your browser detects your location and shows it on screen so you can tell the 112 emergency number where you are. Your location stays on your device: the site does not send or store it.
- Data you send us. If you write to or call the contacts listed on the site, what you tell us is used only to reply to you.
Why we process it
Browsing data is needed to provide the service and keep it secure, which is the controller’s legitimate interest in keeping the site running and protected (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data you send us is used to answer your requests.
Who receives the data
- The hosting provider, which hosts the site and keeps its technical logs as data processor: Aruba S.p.A., Via San Clemente 53, 24036 Ponte San Pietro (BG), Italy.
- Route maps. The maps come from OpenStreetMap: to display them, your browser downloads map images from servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation (United Kingdom, a country covered by an EU adequacy decision), which receive your IP address. The OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy applies.
- Weather. In the Weather section of the home page your browser requests the forecast from Open-Meteo, which receives your IP address. No location of yours is sent: the coordinates are the fixed ones of Calice al Cornoviglio. The site sets no cookies for this service.
- External links. Links to Google Maps and other sites take you away from this site, where those services’ own policies apply.
Your data is never sold or used for advertising or profiling.
How long we keep it
Server logs are kept for [period, as set by the hosting provider] and then deleted, unless needed to investigate a crime. Emails and requests are kept as long as needed to handle them.
Your rights
You can ask the controller to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict its processing or to object to it (Articles 15–22 GDPR) by writing to the controller. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
